FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: ends of specimens are fixed on a support made in the form of a closed frame with two movable braces. The specimens are bent, and a deflection value under complex bending conditions is determined. With that, a bracing coefficient during loading is variable.
EFFECT: possible performance of the test under complex bending conditions with a variable bracing coefficient during loading, which gives a possibility of performing experimental investigations of accumulation of residual deflections in shell plating of ships during operation.
