FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the testing equipment, and specifically to the flat specimens bending testing methods. Essence: performing the sample preliminary conditional division along the length into sections, fixing the sample ends on the support, made in the form of a closed frame with two movable struts. After the deflection from a uniformly distributed load on the sample measuring, without the total load on the sample changing, performing the load redistribution over the sample areas. After the load each redistribution, measuring the sample deflection until the deflection stabilization. With the load on the sample increasing, the load is evenly distributed over the areas. For the load redistribution on the sample areas at all stages of testing, the load on the area is calculated, taking into account of the sample deflection and the area location on the sample length.
EFFECT: ability to simulate the loads, acting on the ships hulls skin plates under actual operating conditions for the plates deformation studying.
