SUBSTANCE: device for oral care such as a toothbrush (100) contains a handle (110) and a head (120). On the cleaning surface (121) of the head (120), multiple tooth-cleaning elements are positioned (130). The head (120) is composed of segments (140-145) made of a hard material and positioned at a distance from each other. The segments (140-145) are separated from each other with channels (157-159B) containing an elastomeric material (146) that flexibly connects the segments (140-145) to each other. The oral care device additionally contains a elastomeric soft tissue cleaner (200) positioned on the rear surface (122) of the head (120). Each of the segments (140-145) contains a projection (163-169) made of a hard material and passing through the elastomeric soft tissue cleaner (200) so that the hard material section of one projection is opened.
