SUBSTANCE: proposed is a device for oral care such as a toothbrush that contains a handle (110) and a head (120). On the front surface of the head, multiple tooth-cleaning elements are provided for. The head is composed of multiple segments made of a hard material and positioned at a distance from each other 140, 141, 142, 143, 144, 145). The segments are separated from each other with channels (157, 158A, 158B, 159A, 159B) containing an elastomer material that flexibly connects the segments to each other. The oral care device additionally contains a elastomeric soft tissue cleaner (200) positioned on the rear surface that is opposed to the front surface of the head. The elastomeric soft tissue cleaner contains multiple groves (204) matching the channels.
