FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment and is applicable for single injections. A needle-free disposable injector with a body, which comprises at least one compression rod with a piston cylinder unit, with a plunger, controlling the piston, with a release device and with a pre-strained, blocked compression rod actuated by the release device by a spring-loaded energy storage device. The compression rod can slide along at least one release element of the release device and be pushed out. An upper free end of the single compression rod has a radially projecting cam having at least a support surface directed towards an axial line of the injector, and a bearing surface facing from the axial line of the injector. The release device interacts with a spring-loaded energy storage device, which actuates the piston cylinder unit. Coupling of the facing inner wall of the release element and the bearing surface of the compression rod has at least partially a higher friction coefficient than coupling of the facing coupled surface of the plunger controlling the piston operation and the support surface of the compression rod.
EFFECT: invention enables providing the required hold-down pressure when applying the device.
