FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention proposes a measurement method of thermal and physical properties of solid materials by means of an instantaneous flat heat source method, which consists in the fact that a specimen of a test material is made in the form of three plates. Besides, a thin plate is arranged between the two massive ones. Between the lower massive and the thin plate an arrangement is made for a flat electric heater, and a thermoelectric converter is located between the upper massive and the thin plate. First, the obtained system is exposed at a specified initial temperature, and then, a short electric pulse is supplied to the electric heater. In order to determine thermal and physical properties of the material at an active stage of the experiment there performed is measurement and recording of temperature with a constant pitch in time; the maximum temperature value is determined; the temperature value T' and the point of time τ', which correspond to the specified value of parameter β, are calculated.
EFFECT: improving the measurement accuracy of thermal and physical properties of solid materials due to the selection of optimum operating parameters of a thermal and physical experiment.
