SUBSTANCE: device includes the following: a die (3) for the front end cutting, which cuts an electrode material (100) into strips shaped as the electrode; a manipulating device (2), which grips the electrode material (100) and transports the electrode material (100) to a position of the die (3) for the front end cutting; the first suction conveyor (5) placed along the strike above the die (3) for the front end cutting, in the direction of transportation, the conveyor has a bearing area to support the electrode material (100) in the process of cutting by the die (3) for the front end cutting. The manipulating device (2) includes two gripping devices (23, 25), the first suction conveyor (5) placed between the gripping devices (23, 25). The manipulating device (2) transports the electrode material (100) to the cutting position so that the electrode material (100) does not touch the die (3) and the first suction conveyor (5).
EFFECT: preventing the friction of the electrode material against other elements.
