SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electric engineering, in particular, to packed electrodes manufacturing technology, wherein separator welding device is used and the latter includes connecting heads having connecting tips, which join a pair of separators, and holding modules, which fix a pair of separators. Technical result lies in improved efficiency of the whole accumulator battery manufacture. Upon movement of connecting heads closer to each other in regard to separators and fixation of a pair of separators by holding modules, the above pair of separators is joined to each other by connecting tips. Meanwhile, upon separation of connecting heads from each other in regard to separators and connecting tips are separated from a pair of separators the above separators are released from fixture by holding modules.
EFFECT: improvement of welding procedure.
