FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of producing esterified diphenylolpropane formaldehyde oligomers. Described is a method of producing esterified diphenylolpropane formaldehyde oligomers by reacting diphenylolpropane with paraform in an organic solvent with base catalysis, followed by polycondensation and esterification with addition of an organic solvent in the presence of an acid catalyst and further filtration, characterised by that the hydroxymethylation and polycondensation catalyst is ion-exchange resins, specifically anionites AV-17-8, AM-8, Wofatit SBW, Amberlite IRA-400 with moisture content of 40-65%, taken in amount of 2-30%, based on dry anionites, of the weight of the reagents.
EFFECT: cheap synthesis and fewer wastes when producing diphenylolpropane formaldehyde oligomers.
