FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymeric materials based on epoxy-phenol compositions and may be used for corrosion protection coatings of food cans. Physical structure of the obtained epoxy-phenol composition was subject to ultrasonic treatment. Ultrasonic treatment frequency was 21000-30000 Hz at room temperature, duration of 5-20 min. The epoxy-phenol composition was obtained by mixing a solution of epoxy-diane oligomer in ethyl cellosolve with a solution of butanolised phenol-formaldehyde oligomer in butanol. After ultrasonic treatment the solution of phosphoric acid in ethyl cellosolve was added to the mixture. Reduced energy consumption due to the reduced process temperature from 120°C to 20°C, and time of solution mixing reduced from 90 min. to 15 min., which results in the product cost cutting.
EFFECT: produced epoxy-phenol compositions with high physical and chemical and performance characteristics.
