FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device is designed to control shape and mutual arrangement of surfaces of bulky items and transmission of direction at distances of up to 100 meters and more. The device comprises a laser, an optical system, developing a stable base direction by means of formation of a circular structure of a laser beam, and a measurement unit with a position-sensitive photodetector, connected to a computing unit. The laser and optical system creating a stable base direction are arranged on a carriage, which may move along guides in the horizontal and vertical planes. To exclude impact of errors of guides at accuracy of carriage displacement for transmission and integrity of stable base direction on a carriage there is additionally a level and a rectangular reflector, the rib of the straight angle of which is parallel to the base direction, and which is optically connected to an autocollimating laser tube. As a result of which there is no necessity to manufacture precise guides. A light divider is also installed on the movable carriage for control of location of objects with flat surfaces. Distinctive features stated in the proposed device make it possible to perform control and installation of surfaces of complex configuration, objects of large sizes, arranged at high distances, to determine mutual rotation of objects distanced in space, to perform parallel transfer and transmission of base direction to a distance. At the same time technological and metrological problems are solved, which were not solved at all before, or were performed with insufficient accuracy. For instance, there is a possibility to perform control and installation of such objects, such as a mirror of a solar radiation simulator, multi-element mirrors of telescopes of large diameter made of separate mirror segments, to perform control of coaxiality of nuclear reactor holes in hard-to-access areas in the shaft with depth of more than 13 meters.
EFFECT: with simple facilities and with high accuracy (1 mcm/m) there is a possibility to transfer stable base direction developed by c circular structure of a laser beam in space along three coordinates.
