FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for controlling alignment of vertical holes, levelling, parallelism, perpendicularity and mutual location of surfaces when assembling large-size products. Laser plumb comprises a laser, an optical system which forms a stable base direction by forming a circular structure of a laser beam, a control element (triple prism mark) and a measuring unit: visual and with a photodetector (digital camera connected to a computer). In order to ensure stable vertical base direction of long length circuit of device includes a liquid cell and liquid level, which provide automatically strict vertical laser beam direction regardless of inclination of device. Triple prism used as a mark, inclinations of which do not affect direction of reflected beam, returns laser beam vertically incident on it in parallel to initial direction also vertically.
EFFECT: creation of base vertical axes of long length with high degree of stabilisation, high accuracy of vertical measurements and possibility of measuring at large depths (more than 20 meters) without an observer.
