To this effect, an involved skin area is coated with a composition containing from approximately 0.4 wt % to approximately 0.6 wt % brimonidine providing its blood serum or plasma concentration, Cmax of approximately 54±28 pg/ml or less and AUC0-24h of approximately 568±277 pg·h/ml or less.
EFFECT: method provides the effective treatment of telangiectasia or related symptoms with no side local and systemic effects.
