FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: fan cooling tower contains a housing, spraying device, liquid collecting tank and fan, the housing consists of two parts - top part with spray nozzle and spray separator, between which the spraying device collector with whole-flare nozzles is located, and the bottom part, with the cooled water collector with the fan. and the housing is fabricated from thin sheet stainless steel, and the water collecting tank has a diffuser, which is a part of the housing connected to the fan designed with the plastic impeller and multi-speed electric motor, allowing during operation, depending on weather conditions, to change the flow rate of the fan cooling tower due to change of air-flow rate. The spray nozzle contains layered tubular elements from thermoplastic material with a grid wall, and be their ends the tubular elements are welded to each other, the tubular elements are made with a triangular cross-section, and between each layer of tubular elements crosswise to them along their each end the strip from thermoplastic material welded with tubular elements in places of their contact with a strip is laid. During welding the face sections of tubular elements and strips, laid between them, are melted, and during melting the monolithic face walls of the block are formed. Cavities of all tubular elements and outside the pipes are filled with hollow polymeric spheres, and diameter of spheres 5-10% greater than the maximum size of the mesh of the grid wall of tubular elements, and each nozzle of the spraying device collector is designed with a spraying disk and contains the cylindrical housing with the flow nipple rigidly connected to the housing and located in axially top of the housing, with a liquid inlet cylindrical hole connected to a diffuser, axisymmetric to the housing and flow nipple. To the housing, in its bottom part, by means of at least three spokes the dispenser located perpendicularly to the housing axis and designed as a continuous disk is connected.

EFFECT: increase of productivity of fan cooling tower operation.
