SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related to the sphere of gas and oil production and may be used in operations with a gravel-packed filter in a well borehole. The method includes placement in an annular space of the well of an assembly containing a frame and a swellable element made of a material expandable at its stimulation in the well borehole, placement of a gravel-packed filter through the annular space of the well borehole with the set assembly and setting of the gravel-packed filter above the assembly. Upon setting of the gravel-packed filter the swellable element is increased in its volume thus creating a circular barrier in the well borehole; solid particles of the gravel-packed filter are shifted to one or several cavities and swelling of the swellable element is ensured in the space freed by shifted solid particles of the gravel-packed filter.
EFFECT: improved efficiency and simplified technology of zones isolation in the well borehole.
