FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: device of transformation of stern compartments of artillery projectile comprises a storage chamber connected to the space behind the shot by the throttling device, the support fluted disk and the corrugated shell with a coaxial plurality of zigzag corrugations applied on the corresponding profile corrugation of the support disk. The corrugated shell is made annular-shaped with an odd number of the external corrugations. The average diameter of the corrugated annular shell coincides with the average diameter of the central corrugation, and the shell itself is fixed on the fluted support disk along the outer and the inner contour. In the central annular ledge of the fluted support disk the through holes are made, evenly located on its central circumference, connecting the collection chamber with the inner surface of the central corrugation of the shell. In addition, the central annular ledge of the fluted support disk can be partially replaced by a ring with a profile entirely complementary to the profile of the central corrugation of the shell and fixed inside the corrugation.
EFFECT: extended flying range of artillery projectile with propulsion device by improving its aerodynamic property by reducing the resistance of the bottom.
