SUBSTANCE: individual's body index is determined by measuring the body height and weight, as well as specifying his age. Additionally, the individual's waist circumference is measured, and a portion of the body fat is derived taking into account the individual's body weight index, height, waist circumference, age and coefficients Kn established by mathematical findings of a group of farm machinery operators by formula: A=K1×BWI-K2×Height+K3×WC-K4×Age, wherein A is the portion of the body fat, percent, K1=0.93, K2=0.11, K3=0.24, K4=0.084; BWI is the body weight index, kg/m2; WC is the waist circumference, cm; Age is the age, years; Height is the height, cm.
EFFECT: method enables providing the more accurate assessment of the portion of the body fat in the structure of the body weight for assessing the workers' health by evaluating the body structure values.
