FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology for fodders production and may be used during farm animals feeding. Castor oil plant seeds extraction cake with moisture content equal to 18-20% is subjected to wet-and-heat treatment at a temperature of 80±2°C during 30-35 minutes. Immediately during wetting, water solution of amber acid is introduced into the extraction cake in an amount of 5-10% of the extraction cake weight. The produced product is dried till moisture content is equal to 7.5-9.0%.
EFFECT: invention implementation ensures castor oil plant extraction cake toxicity reduction and biological value enhancement as well as the ready product storage life increase.
