FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: during acceleration of a missile while firing, between barrel bottom and a missile with a housing of cylindrical form preliminary generated is excess pressure of powder gases and formed is carrying gas layer in the direction of missile heal to provide its directed motion to output of the barrel hole. In the area adjacent to external surface of missile housing of cylindrical form formed is a zone with enlarged pressure area of carrying gas layer on the missile to impart additional acceleration in direction of output of the barrel hole. The missile contains metal housing of cylindrical form which nose part is designed along longitudinal axis and conjointly with the housing. On the housing surface successively along its length in direction perpendicular to the missile longitudinal axis performed are annular grooves forming corresponding annular projections. Each of annular projection is provided with holes. Holes are arranged at equal distances from each other and from longitudinal axis, and holes in neighbouring annular projections are performed nonoverlapping.
EFFECT: improving missile acceleration speed for increase of firing distance and missile wounding power.
