FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: during acceleration of missile in barrel bore, powder gas overpressure is developed between barrel bottom and missile to create gas flow directed to missile rear pushing said missile toward outlet. Note here that zone adjoining the missile outer surface is provided with missile gas ply pressure increased area is formed to impart extra acceleration and spinning in barrel bore owing to radial component of gas ply pressure application vector. Groove is made on missile to shape an appropriate ledge. Said helical groove extends from missile body tail to head for to make a gas ply passage. Ledges have holes (cut-outs) to make gas ply passages.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of fire and acceleration, better stabilization and centring.
