FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: air seeder and/or a fertilising machine comprises a source of a bulk material, a material metering device, and a pneumatic supply system for moving the material from the source to the ground. The flow determining device comprises the first and second sensors and a processor. The first sensor mounted in the pneumatic supply system is designed for giving the first signal indicating the force of the bulk material striking the first sensor. The second sensor mounted in the pneumatic supply system for giving the interference signal indicates one or more variable values, which negatively affect the accuracy of the first sensor. The processor is connected to the first and second sensors for determining the signal of the mass flow of the bulk material depending on the signal of the striking sensor and the interference signal. The striking first sensor is located in the distribution rack, which separates the flow of seeds and fertiliser along separate rows. The second sensor gives the compensation signal depending on one or more variable values such as the rate of the air flow in the system of supplying, vibration of the seeding machine. The processor calculates the total mass flow rate of the bulk material from the force signal and the signal of the air flow rate. To determine the separate rates of the seeds and fertilisers the rate controller temporarily changes the rate of metering of one of the materials. The processor then calculates the necessary information from the change in the mass flow and the change in the rate of the metering device. Another embodiment comprises a detection device of the seeds at the outlet of the metering device for providing verifying the accuracy.
EFFECT: invention enables to improve the accuracy of measurement of the flow rate of seeds, without time consuming for manual calibration.
