FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organometallic synthesis and specifically to a method of producing enantiomerically rich 1-ethyl-(3S)-cyclohexylaluminacyclopentane (1) . The method includes reacting an α-olefin with triethylaluminium (AlEt3) in the presence of an enantiomerically pure catalyst of bis(1-neo-menthylene dienyl)zirconium dichloride (
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain enantiomerically rich 1-ethyl-(3S)-cyclohexylaluminacyclopentane, which can be used in stereoregular polymerisation and oligomerisation of unsaturated compounds and as fine organic synthesis synthons.
