FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic synthesis, specifically to a method of producing 1-dimethylaluminium-2-methylalkanes. The method involves reaction of α-olefin with trimethylaluminium (AlMe3) in the presence of a bispentamethyl cyclopentadienyl zirconium dichloride (Cp* 2ZrCl2) catalyst in an argon atmosphere at normal pressure and temperature 15°C in dichloromethane (CH2Cl2).
EFFECT: obtained compounds can be used as components of catalyst systems in oligomerisation and polymerisation of olefin and diene hydrocarbons, as well as in fine organic and organometallic synthesis.
