FIELD: motors and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: device for injection of liquid medium into the exhaust gases of internal combustion engine, comprising: a pipeline (2) intended for the flow of exhaust gases through it; an injection chamber (3) bounded in the radial directions by the tubular wall (8); means (13) for injecting for injection liquid medium into the injection chamber; a mixing channel (14) into which there is an outlet (10) from the injection chamber for feeding exhaust gases; a bypass channel (15) having an outlet (17) through which it is connected with the mixing channel; an end wall (7) located in the injection chamber downstream and separating the chamber from the mixing channel so that the outlet of the chamber is located on the periphery of the end wall. The outlet of the bypass channel is near the outlet of the injection chamber, so that the exhaust gases that flow into the mixing channel through the outlet of the chamber collide with the exhaust gases that flow into the mixing channel through the outlet of the bypass channel.

EFFECT: increased evaporation of reducing agent and providing the effective catalytic conversion.
