FIELD: engines.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to internal combustion engine exhaust gases treatment. Liquid medium introduction device, for example, urea, into internal combustion engine exhaust gases includes mixing chamber (2), intended for flow of exhaust gases over it, wherein mixing chamber (2) is restricted in radial direction from outside with tubular metal wall (6), and injecting element (10) for liquid medium injection in form of aerosol (11) into mixing chamber (2). Tubular wall (6) has variable thickness, if viewed in mixing chamber lengthwise direction, so, that tubular wall (6) section (6a) intended for such aerosol (11) from injecting element impacts into it, has thickness, larger than thickness tubular wall (6) section adjoining to this wall section (6a).

EFFECT: using invention enables good evaporation of injected chemical reducing agent.
