FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the agricultural production, namely, machines for grinding concentrated feed. The chopper of forage grain comprises a housing made in the form of a tube rigidly fixed to the frame. The loading hopper is attached to the side of the housing. Inside, on the axis of the housing a shaft is located, rotating in bearing assemblies. In the upper part of the shaft a receiving scraper is consecutively mounted, as well as a distribution cone having spiral notches, opposite which on the inner walls of the housing a distribution conical sleeve is fixed, having a smooth surface. Below, directly adjacent to the distribution cone, a working cone is secured, having main notches in the form of grooves. Opposite the working cone on the inner walls of the housing the working conical sleeve is fixed, having, as well as the working cone, the main and additional notches in the form of similar grooves but directed to the opposite side to the grooves of the working cone and providing the angle of pinching the material between the grooves of the working cone and the conical sleeve of not less than 45°. At the lower part of the shaft under the working cone an unloading scraper is mounted, opposite which in the housing there is an unloading chute. For the implementation of the vertical adjustment of the gap between the working bodies a screw is used. The gap size is fixed by a nut. An electric motor is mounted on the frame, connected to the shaft by means of a vee belt transmission.

EFFECT: device provides reduction in energy intensity of the grinding process of forage grain and increase in productivity.
