FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: intraocular lens comprises an optic portion and a haptic portion consisting of two elements, one of which is optically transparent and comprises a trapezoid slot, and the second element represents a plate with through holes on the periphery. The plate is fastened in the slot of the first haptic element and connected to the optic portion. An outer surface of the first haptic element represents an ellipsoid. A base of the second haptic element is a bi-convex lens, while the optic portion represents a concave-convex cylinder lens and comprises markers arranged along an axis of symmetry of the optic portion perpendicular to an axis of reciprocation of the plate.
EFFECT: using the invention enables reducing astigmatism, improving the fastening reliability of the intraocular lens and conservation of the visual organ.
