FIELD: physics; control.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to controlling lift systems. A lift (1A…1H) control system comprises flat sensors operating by detecting capacitance (2A…2H) of the lift control means. The said capacitance (2A…2H) sensors are configured to output information on the presence and number of passengers. The lift control means (1A-1H) are configured to receive information from the capacitance (2A…2H) sensors on the presence and number of passengers waiting for the lift at each floor, and control movement of the lifts (1A…1H) of the lift system using the information received from the capacitance (2A…2H) sensors on the presence and number of passengers waiting for the lift at least in a given waiting area.
EFFECT: minimising waiting and movement time, efficient power consumption while reducing the number of passengers.
