SUBSTANCE: invention relates to elevator safety means. In elevator displacement to passenger deplaning position in rescue operation channel 32 is arranged to transmit rescue operation signal between rescue device 16 and control board 26. Rescue operated is initiated in response to signal from said manual switch 28 for changeover to rescue mode configured to allow rescue initiation instruction indication. Rescue device 16 is connected with elevator brake system 4 and includes rescue power supply 22. Said rescue device 16 is arranged nearby elevator brake system 4. Control board 26 incorporates aforesaid manual switch 28 and is a remote component for rescue device 16.
