FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to control and safety of elevators. Proposed method comprises locking still video image related with elevator's hall, computing passenger data to anonymously identify every passenger and controlling elevator operation with due allowance for identification data. Still video image is analyse by colour indexing. Proposed system comprises video camera, video data processor with software for video processing, and elevator control device. Said software allows colour indexing analysis. Proposed anonymous observation method comprises assigning definite elevator cab to passenger in response to floor request, and creating colour histogram signature of a passenger for his/her identification. Proceeding from created colour histogram signature, passenger parameters are computed and elevator is controlled on the basis on said computed parameters.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
