FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to hepatology, and can be used for the hepatoprotective action in chronic emotional pain stress. Substance of the invention consists in using a delta-sleep inducing peptide having formula (NH2)Trp-Ala-Gly-Gly-Asp-Ala-Ser-Gly-Glu(COOH) for the hepatoprotective action in chronic emotional pain stress. The technical effect of the invention is achieved by administering the delta-sleep inducing peptide dissolved is normal saline into experimental animals (rats) parenterally (abdominally) in a dose of 40 mcg/kg of body weight for 60 minutes before the beginning of the chronic emotional pain stress for 5 days.
EFFECT: advantage of the invention consists in applicability of the above peptide for the purpose of hepatic protection in chronic emotional pain stress that enables providing the more effective treatment of the diseases accompanied by chronic pain syndrome.
