FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: generator of sounding signals includes a synchroniser and a pulse generator connected to a D-input of a D-trigger, the output of which is connected to one of the inputs of the switch the output of which is connected to one of the inputs of the power amplifier, a code converter, a generator of video pulses and a code generator connected to the code converter the outputs of which are connected to the inputs of the generator of video pulses and to a C-input of the D-trigger, and the outputs of the generator of video pulses are connected to other switch inputs. Introduction of time diversity between opposite-phase control signals of the power amplifier of Class D excludes a possibility of occurrence of through currents in active elements, which allows considerably improving reliability of a sounding generator and shaping a sounding signal with constant initial and end phase, which is supplied to the acoustic converter. Availability of two reference signals shifted as to phase through 90° with frequency equal to frequency of a sounding signal allows applying methods of synchronous detection and other types of echo signal processing.
EFFECT: enlarging operating capabilities of a generator.
