FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device to connect pipes for tearproof and leakproof connection of a male end with a coupling, with a ferrule consisting of a variety of links set in the direction of circumference in a movable way in respect to each other, the links are of variable diameter and can be tightened in relation to the coupling ring by a pull ring. The pull ring is fitted by a conical pulling surface, and the coupling ring is fitted by a coupling conical surface, both surfaces are turned towards the ferrule and the medial axis. The width of the ferrule is decreasing as far as the distance from the medial axis is increasing, the links are fitted by respectively an inserted section and a receiving section with the latter having side arms which at least partially embrace the inserted section of the next link by the sides in the zone of conical pulling surface and coupling conical surface.
EFFECT: invention improves the connection reliability.
