FIELD: sleeve joints for pipes. SUBSTANCE: sealing ring may be inserted into circular groove having rectangular cross- section. Ring has closed reinforcing ring located in recess of sealing ring open inside; sealing ring is provided with collar seal on its front side which is located at angle relative to rear end. Rear end of ring is provided with pressing seal. Rear pressing seal has front receiving surface over which pressing seal is forced backward and inside along axis of pipe by means of inclined collar seal when pointed end of second pipe is inserted into sleeve portion of first pipe.
