FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: highly coercitive permanent magnet 2 of cylindrical shape is placed inside a cylindrical shell 1 of a pump from ferromagnetic material. In the circular channel of the working zone of the pump they install a flat insulating plate 3 and tightly fixed to the shell 1 and the permanent magnet 2. The main pair 4 of DC electrodes is installed symmetrically on opposite sides of the flat insulating plate in the zone of a single pole of a magnet, and an additional pair 5 of DC electrodes - in the zone of the opposite pole of the magnet. A period of regulation of electroconducting liquid supply to a user is set, and the main and additional pairs of electrodes are connected to appropriate controlled sources 13 and 14 of DC voltage. DC voltage is supplied to the additional pair of electrodes in the form of pulses with a fixed period, which is smaller than the regulation period, and duty factor close to one. During a pause, using an additional pair of electrodes, they measure electromotive force in the electroconducting liquid, and on the basis of the electromotive force value they calculate the flow rate of the pumped fluid. The liquid flow rate is stabilised by means of correction of DC voltage value on the main pair of electrodes and/or on the additional pair of electrodes.
EFFECT: supply of electroconducting liquid to a user is carried out with continuous and accurate flow rate in each period of regulation.
