FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering. A fuel combustion method is implemented in a rotary internal combustion engine. A combustion chamber being a swirler, a rotor with spherical blades with sealing vanes and spool valve grooves adjacent to the rotor are arranged in the motor housing. A spherical swirl-type combustion chamber is taken out to the reverse side of the spool valve, offset and opened to the side of formation of an "operating stroke" cavity and has two blind channels. Tangential supply of compressed air and discharge of expanding gases is performed through blind channels. A provision is made for use of an additional spool valve for release of residual pressure from the combustion chamber and its blowdown using two channels after the rotor is turned through more than 60 degrees from longitudinal axis. The exhaust is provided with a swirler with a blind channel for concentration of exhaust gases and removal of air from the groove of the second spool valve to the "inlet" path cavity. A compensator is provided in the groove of the main spool valve. The compensator transfers the compressed air between adjacent surfaces of the spool valve and the rotor blade with further release in the action zone of the "operating stroke" path to maintain the combustion process.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at simplification of a design, improvement of environmental friendliness and economy of an engine.
