SUBSTANCE: diagnosing critical congenital heart disease in newborns with using NT-pro-BNP levels is ensured by measuring N-terminal fragment of a brain natriuretic peptide precursor in blood serum or plasma before the electrocardiographic diagnosis of coronary vessels; if the derived value is more than 5,695 pg/ml, a high risk of critical congenital heart disease is stated.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to use NT-pro-BNP in the neonatal screening for neonatal critical congenital heart disease.
