SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering and can be used in satellite communication systems. The technical result is faster transmission of information owing to compensation for change in group delay. To this end, the system comprises a means of determining at least one of: phase deviation for a frequency channel from a plurality of frequency channels demultiplexed from a carrier for compensating for change in group delay in the carrier and gain deviation for the frequency channel for compensating for change in gain with the carrier; and a means of applying the determined at least one of: phase deviation and gain deviation in the frequency channel to restore the carrier from said plurality of frequency channels.
EFFECT: invention enables digital compensation for any undesirable change in group delay and gain, caused, for example, by analogue components such as filters in a satellite communication system.
