FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to abrasive treatment and can be used for the production of shaped ceramic particles for abrasive items. The above ceramic particle has four main surfaces connected by six common edges. Each of the four main surfaces is connected to three other main surfaces, and the six common edges have mainly the same length. An abrasive particle corresponds to nominal discharges accepted in the abrasive industry. The invention also describes a method for obtaining the abrasive particle and an abrasive item consisting of the shaped ceramic particles fixed on a binding element.
EFFECT: improving treatment efficiency due to a high symmetry degree of ceramic abrasive particles, which reduces the probability of their orientation in an abrasive item in a certain direction.
