FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for generation of electrical energy from wind energy, which includes bladed unit (5), wind collection unit (6) and control unit (8). Bladed unit (5) includes vertical shaft (51) installed so that it can be rotated on base (4), and multiple blades (521) rigidly fixed around shaft (51) and brought into rotation with wind. Generator (9) is connected to shaft (51) and intended to convert kinetic rotation energy to electrical energy. Wind collection unit (6) includes vertical plates (61) installed so that they can be rotated on the base and located around blades (521). Control unit (8) measures rotation speed of shaft (51) and according to this rotation speed it moves at least some part of each vertical plate (61) between the first and the second positions, in which amount of wind flowing to blades (521) increases and decreases respectively.
EFFECT: development of a device for generation of electrical energy from wind energy.
