FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device designed to protect sensitive areas subjected to collisions with foreign objects and concerns protection of aircraft sensitive areas. The device includes flexible sheet body (flexible screen) made of shock-resistant material, located apart from protected object on the path of bundle of possible trajectories of foreign object collision with an object being protected and having several energy-absorbing elements. The energy-absorbing elements may be chosen from among textile, mechanical and hydraulic elements. Herewith, textile energy-absorbing elements represent bands each one of which is folded in zigzag fashion with creation of overlapping sections which bands are fixed on sheet body near its edge and towards its inner part and provided with connecting straps successively tearing when foreign object collides with flexible sheet body. Energy-absorbing elements are provided with fasteners fixed on bearing structure outside bundle of possible collision trajectories so that flexible sheet body hitting by foreign object would lead to sheet body deformation and subsequent elongation of energy-absorbing elements .

EFFECT: keeping integrity and maintaining functionality of sensitive areas after collision with foreign objects.
