FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method of treating dental hyperesthesia consists in applying a preparation on the tooth surface thoroughly cleaned from dental deposit with the use of an individual tray for 20-25 min once a day for 10 days and a preparation of the following formulation: 5% Metolose gel 60SH-4000 containing 7.8 wt % (1.046 mole/l) potassium chloride (KCl).
EFFECT: using the method ensures the normal dental reaction on external irritants; the method can be applied for all age groups of patients, since the therapeutic preparation is free from alcohol.
