FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery. A laparoscopic splenectomy is performed. A spleen ligament and feeding vessels are transected. The spleen ligament tissues are coagulated and transected from a lower edge of the splenic hilum without separating the vessels until transected completely. The electrical coagulation covers the non-separated vessels immediately before penetrating into the spleen tissue.
EFFECT: method provides simplicity, reliability and safety of the splenectomy, reduces a risk of profuse haemorrhages and conversions.
