SUBSTANCE: package for smoking articles is described in the application, such as for cigarettes, which comprises several flat panels, and a preform for manufacturing such package. The package for smoking articles having relatively large front and rear flat panels and relatively small lateral flat panels forming the package. At least one of the large panels comprises a plurality of separate projections located with the intervals from each other and projecting outwards from the flat outer surface of the large panel(s). At that the projections have a generally circular convex shape and are arranged in regular rows and columns on the surface(s) of the panel(s).
EFFECT: group of inventions provides a package having low thermal conductivity from the outer surface to the contents in manufacturing.
