SUBSTANCE: hinged cover pack 100 with smoking articles comprises a smoking article package 104 having a plurality of face surfaces wrapped in wrapper 106 of flexible sheet material; casing 102 comprising pack body 108; and packet cover 110, pivotally connected to pack body. Free edges of the whole inner surface of the wrapper are glued together over the first face surface 114 of the packet to form edge seam 112 which is glued to the wrapper over the second face surface of the packet.
EFFECT: relatively thick fin seals have adverse implications for the high speed manufacture of packs.
