SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to oil production and processing. The invention concerns a method for a hydrocarbon material dehydration involving the high-frequency magnetic treatment of the hydrocarbon material with a signal in a generated pulsed magnetic field. The pulsed magnetic field is generated along a flow translation vector. The process of the hydrocarbon material dehydration is controlled by varying the pulse frequency and amplitude depending on a degree of the water content of the hydrocarbon material. The invention also refers to a device for the hydrocarbon material dehydration comprising an inductor, a pulse generator and an analyser with a sensitive unit for determining the degree of the water content of the hydrocarbon material.

EFFECT: improving the quality of the treated hydrocarbon material and the effectiveness of its dehydration with minimum energy, time and equipment costs.
