SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering and radio engineering and can be used for comparison of time scales spaced apart by a long distance. The clock synchronising device which implements the disclosed method comprises a frequency and time standard 1, a heterodyne unit 2, first 2.1 and second 2.2 heterodynes, a pseudonoise signal generator 3, a switch 4, first 5, second 13 and third 24 mixers, a first intermediate frequency amplifier 6, first 7 and second 12 power amplifiers, a duplexer 8, a transceiving antenna 9, first 14 and second 25 second intermediate frequency amplifiers, first 10 and second 15 clippers, first 11 and second 16 buffer storages, a metre 17 for measuring delay and derivatives thereof, a controlled delay unit 18, a multiplier 19, a low-pass filter 20, an extremal controller 21, a microprocessor 22, a third generator 23, a second correlator 26, a threshold unit 27 and a switch 28.
EFFECT: high noise-immunity and accuracy of synchronising remote time scales by suppressing spurious signals (interference), received over an image channel and combination channels.
