FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiovascular surgery and interventional arrhythmology. The preoperative stage involves an angiography with a catheter delivered through a femoral vein into a right ventricular outflow tract to reach a pulmonary valve; the examination covers an anteroposterior projection with contrasting until the right ventricle, tricuspid valve ring, pulmonary artery, pulmonary veins, left atrium, left ventricle and ascending aorta and aortic arch are visualised.
EFFECT: method enables obtaining the preoperative more complete information on the anatomy of patient's heart and greater vessels, leads to reducing time of X-ray exposure of the surgeon and patient, and reduces complications and operative cost considerably.
