FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiovascular surgery. At the stage of operation of catheter ablation of additional pathways, puncture of interatrial septum (IAS) is performed under control of intracardiac echocardiography with the help of guide string. Tip of the J-shaped conductor is straightened by pulling the proximal part of the string clamped between I and II fingers forward, fixing the distal end of the string between III, IV and V fingers and the palm of the right hand.
EFFECT: method enables performing the IAS puncture with a lower risk of developing perioperative complications, without radiation exposure on the patient and medical personnel, with lower time and cost.
