FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed piston consists of top and bottom steel fragments (1, 2) welded together. Said fragments composed peripheral and central piston head cooling chambers (3, 4) communicated via axial channels (5) made in bottom fragment (1) wall perpendicular to the piston lengthwise mirror axis. Bottom fragment (1) wall has extra channels (6) arranged inclined to the piston lengthwise mirror axis to communicate peripheral and central cooling chambers (3, 4). Extra channels (6) are located above the main channels (5).
EFFECT: improved oil circulation in cooling chambers.
